New Furniture

We ordered this chair and a half a couple of weeks ago....and finally got to bring it home yesterday! I just love the color! It's extremely comfy!!!! And I love the fact that two people can fit comfortably in it!!! I'm really glad it goes with all our stuff...I was a little worried when I ordered it that it would be bright red or something...but it looks really nice!

Heaven

Brnnah has been in and out of the hospital the last 3 days....she started throwing up really bad and would stop I took her in for her scheduled blood work and her kidney function had lowered...for those of you who know #'s her kreatinin was @ a 3! Which was starting to scare me so we went into the clinic and did some more routine test and more blood work...sat. and sun. Poor little girl was miserable...Sunday I took her home from church and she was just crying...(those of you who know Brynnah well...she never cries) So I went in her bed and slept with her until she calmed down...I guess it was a while because Ryan took this pic when we were totally out! It's the one piece of Heaven we've had in the last couple days! The update is that she was REALLY dehydrated. We've got some more fluids in her and she seems to be doing a lot better...and her kidney function is back where it was...so only time will tell when we will have to do this all over again...but I'm elated to be her mother everyday...ups and downs!

My little cellphone girl

Doesn't Brynnah look way older in these pics....like a little toddler it makes me sooo sad that she's growing up so fast! Anyway enough sentiment....I just loved these pics of Brynnah...this was the first time she actually held the phone up to her ear....usually she just thinks it's funny and hands it back to me or Ryan! What a Big Girl!! We always have to make such a fuss about the little things she does...it's a BIG deal to us!!!!

Splish Splash WE were takin a bath

Brynnah was just getting ready to get out of the bath....when Kirra decided she wanted in too!! Brynnah LOVED it...as you can tell...well...at least they both got clean!

This one is my very FAVORITE...you can see her cute little bum!!! She will not like me in 20 years for taking this picture of her!

Mischievous Player

Ryan and I were playing scattergories the other night and had left the contents and box on the coffee table...the next day I stood Brynnah by the couch thinking nothing of the game being near her(she never goes anywhere to bother anything) to my surprise a few minutes later she had the entire game tore apart....she sure had fun though and I couldn't help but laugh!

Water Baby

My Grandma sent Brynnah this pool a couple weeks ago but the weather wasn't cooperating....so we finally got to set it up yesterday... Brynnah wasn't to sure about the cold water...but she warmed up to the idea...
This pool has little blow-up butterfly's ....these were Brynnah's favorites as you can tell she's giving them "loves"
After about 15 minutes she was having a ball!!! She was just a splashin'...get everything wet in the process including me and the dog!!

Hippie Chick

I went to the DI today...I haven't been in a few weeks...I was starting to have withdrawls...anyway I found this adorable dress...I told Ryan it was going to be for halloween...we could be hippies...but truth is...I LOVE this dress and will probably wear it just because!!!

Fun in the Sun

We finally got some sand put into Brynnah's sandbox yesterday....and put her in it for the 1st time...She absolutely LOVED it! I just loved this picture of her little hand sifting through the sand.

Everytime I look at Brynnah I am amazed at how BEAUTIFUL she is.....even with her tubes hanging out everywhere!

DATE NITE

Ryan made arrangements for us to FINALLY go on a date!! We went to see Iron Man...which I highly recommend we absolutely loved it! We had so much fun and it was really nice to get out by ourselves....without Brynnah! I can't even remember the last time we went on a date! We are definately going to try and do things like this more often!!!!

Ryan's surprise Gift

I told Ryan a while ago that I always wanted a butterfly brooch...... So the little sneak that he is went on ebay in search of one...he received it in the mail today he was so excited to give it to me...and i LOVE it!!!!!

Matt's Birthday

So on Friday we had our good friends Matt, Amber and baby Jeriah over for Matt's birthday. Matt was all pouty because Amber didn't have anything planned for his birthday because she had to work(sorry matt but you were pouty)...so i formulated the plan to roast hot dogs and smores on the fire pit out behind our house ! Little did we know that roasting hot dogs and smores was key word for "it's going to snow"! It was extremely cold and snowing while we were trying to inhale our food as fast as humanly possible so we could return to the house where we would be nice and warm....and dry! All of us had to put jackets and sweaters on so we wouldn't get soaked....
We REALLY wanted smores before we went inside so Ryan and I had a system...he roasted I got everything else ready and we stuffed our faces!

We gave Brynnah a marshmallow...for those of you who don't know Brynnah doesn't eat anything by mouth...but we try to get her to at least put it in her mouth and then who knows.....
A typical Brynnah reaction to food....spitting out the food then making an adorably cute face so that you forget you're upset with her for not trying the food.

Play Group

Some girls from the university ward get together every week for play group. I have such a good time. It's nice to get out of the house and visit with other moms!


Of course it makes things a whole lot more fun when you're chasing your kids all over! I thought this picture of Olivia was soooo cute! She was such a little rascal...she was everywhere!


I think it's so funny that amongst all the hustle and bustle of the other kids that Brynnah is just content to sit all by herself and play!





I absolutely loved this picture of landen....sometimes he's not to fond of his baby brother...but once in a while he lets on that he truly loves him!

Mother's day

The Host This post goes out to all those who love the twilight series! This is the new book by Stephanie Meyer...Ryan got it for me for mother's day! I'm so excited to read it sounds really good!!!! If you get the chance check it out!

Update

Brynnah saw her cardiologist on Monday. Everything went pretty well. The visit consisted of weight check 19# 6 oz. (she gained a pound were just hoping that it's not water weight) Height check 30" (she's grown a quarter of an inch in a little over a month!!! Thanks to her growth hormone shots.) She also had an EKG which looked pretty good. Her doc said that from a heart point of view everything looks really good. On the other hand everyone has been really concerned about her lungs. She recently was diagnosed with mile pulmonary hypertension. Her sats drop really low really fast which isn't consistent with her diagnosis. The heart doc said that there's a good chance she has something else going on with her lungs that's causing the hypertension. So she is being referred to a pulmonary specialist at Primary Childrens...hopefully we can get in soon. The good news is that she is responding well to oxygen. He also said that he wants us to come to his clinic and do another sedated echo in June. I think that about covers it!

My grandma bought this toy for Brynnah just a couple days ago and look at her go. We are so proud of our little girl! I'm so glad that she's finally decided that she wants to get moving.....although I'll probably regret saying that when she's running all over the house and chasing the dog! I just love this picture. It's a classic Brynnah facial expression! What a little ham.

Transformers treasure

When we were in Montpelier this weekend Ryan's job was to tear up the downstairs bedroom. While the destruction was occurring Ryan found this treasure in the closet. It's vintage original transformer dinner tray from 1984! He was sooooo excited and couldn't wait to get home to display it on the top shelf of the computer desk. I told him it would probably be worth quite a bit of money on ebay but I don't think I can pry it from his possession.

Cousins

We were in Logan this weekend to help Ryan's sister and their family re-do their roof. Brynnah was having so much fun with all of her cousins! I can't believe how well they all get along and share! It's so great that we have family close so we can see everybody pretty much whenever we want.

swingin' around

We were at Grandma and Grandpa Caywood's house this weekend. They have this swing out in the front of their house. Brynnah was having such a ball. This was her first experience with swinging! I think that we need to get us one now!

Can you believe this weather? I woke up on thursday morning and this is what I saw. These pictures were taken out my back window. I can't believe it's May and it's still snowing!!! Hopefully the weather starts getting a little nicer i'm totally ready for sunshine!
